Here is where you can post evidence for why your nomination should be considered eligible!

This is intended for nominations where eligibility is unclear, such as RPF nominations or anything not covered by the book/runtime length rules.

When posting your evidence, please include the fandom you're nominating, how to find the canon, and why it takes 8 or fewer hours to experience.

Videos are 20minutes and 15 minutes. The Meet the Teams introduce the characters while Expiration Date was unused for a piolet (but show the characters in their canon job).

The comic, on the other hand, is a bit hard to count. Given its a webcomic the amount of "pages" is hard to count with how some overlap and most of the comics do not have an exact count. However, for all the comics that did not have a page count I went in and counted them. For all the comics (main series comic, which tells one consistent story, and the side comics which tend to tie into cosmetics/items/new characters or events in game) is around 630 pages (not extremely heavy in dialogue or detail). Between me and others we found the average time to read the comics is around 4 hours (for a new reader).

I do have page counts for all the comics individually if you need them!There is also a youtuber who did some comic dubs, however his playlist with the official comics also includes unofficial fan comics so it's harder to sort through.

The actual game doesn't have the story like the comic/videos present. While there's bits of information conveyed through the cosmetics of the game, no gameplay is needed to understand the story in the comics/videos. The game itself is a shooting based game and has no story mode.

The White Door has a full official playthrough plus a secret ending, total about 90 minutes.

I could see it being on the fence because it's part of a longer series of games, but The White Door is a spinoff and standalone game. It focuses on a side character with basically no connection to the main story, and it's designed to play on its own. (I figure it's probably fine, just making sure I'm covering my bases here!)

The Endgame (TV)

Just because it is close to the line... The Endgame tv series is 1 season of 10 episodes, 43 minutes each, 430 min = 7.1 hours. It's currently streaming on various sites.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika | Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Anime)

PMMM has 12 show episodes, each at 25 minutes long (5 hours total), and 3 movies (each at ~2 hours long). Which would put it over the cap if all movies are counted. However, movies 1 (PMMM: Beginnings) and 2 (PMMM: Eternal) are literally just the show episodes cut to be in the format of a movie. Movie 3 (PMMM: Rebellion) is the only movie with new content. If the 12 main show episodes (300 minutes) + Movie 3 (116 minutes) are the only things counted, it would put the runtime at ~6.9 hours total.

Main Show Episodes can be found on Crunchyroll and the Movies can be found on Amazon Video.

Akuma No Riddle/Riddle Story of the Devil

Akuma no Riddle is a 13 episode anime the episodes are the standard 24 minutes in length meaning the total watch time is just over 5 hours

The Horse and His Boy

I've nominated The Horse and His Boy by CS Lewis. While part of the longer Chronicles of Narnia series, it is readable as a standalone and the characters I am requesting are only present (as anything more than brief cameos) in this book. (And Goodreads puts it at 224 pages: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/84119.The_Horse_and_His_Boy). Would this meet the eligibility for a single book distinct from its larger series?

Technically this series is just under 9 hours, but both seasons I feel could be viewed separately without much needed context of each other (since season one ties off nicely while season two introduces new plots but constantly recaps the first season so you're kept aware of what went down), so could it be possible to nominate one season (both are around 4-4.5hrs to watch)?

Please go ahead and nominate Season 1, though it seems because Season 2 uses many of the same characters and is not totally self-contained, that one will not be eligible.

An evidence post for this might be unnecessary, but I'm making one due to the fact that there are also some tie-in comics (such as Before Watchmen) that might make it seem longer. However, they are just extra material and aren't part of the same story.

I nominated John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme series 9. JFSP is a British radio skit/sketch show, but series 9 had a different format: 6 half-hour episodes of interlinked scenes following multiple generations of the same family. Characters (who are not in any of the other series) recur throughout. So I think it makes sense to treat it as its own thing.

BCV: Battle Construction Vehicles (Video Game)

The longplay is an hour and 45 minutes, but skipping through the gameplay would cut it down further. But this is the only video I've found so far that doesn't have people talking over it or people skipping through the text boxes.

Playing it would take less than 8 hours, but the game is hard to find (and not great) so I would implore people just to watch the longplay!

Omega Mart - Meow Wolf

Omega Mart is a real-life immersive and interactive art exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada, organized and operated by the Meow Wolf art production company. From my experience, if you go in person, it takes about 5 hours to get through, including the lore parts. The official Omega Mart website lists the lore part of the exhibit, the Omega Mart Experience, as taking about an extra 1-2 hours, and their YouTube Channel says it takes about an hour and a half at baseline.

If you do not wish to attend in person, there are plenty of recordings online of others' experiences in the exhibit. These recordings are edited and generally range from around 30 minutes to an hour. here is one such example.

There are also many online resources and videos regarding the lore of Omega Mart, as well as online archives of in-exhibit written documents. You can find a list of these documents and some of the videos here.

You can find a playlist of every Omega Mart-related video currently on Meow Wolf's channel here. It has a runtime of roughly an hour and 40 minutes.

In short: the length of time required to experience Omega Mart varies depending on your access to the in-person exhibition and the depth to which you wish to delve, but in general does not exceed eight hours of content.

I've nominated Kidnapped - Robert Louis Stevenson - the first novel only, not the series. There are several unabridged audiobook readings, all of which are around 7 - 8 hours in length.

However, if that's pushing my luck, there are also two radioplay adaptions - my preferred just-under-4-hour one from 1985 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hni5GOux_RM&t=18s) or this 2-hour one from 2016 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpHImeWLsRk).
