Here is where you can post evidence for why your nomination should be considered eligible!

This is intended for nominations where eligibility is unclear, such as RPF nominations or anything not covered by the book/runtime length rules.

When posting your evidence, please include the fandom you're nominating, how to find the canon, and why it takes 8 or fewer hours to experience.

Fandom: Iron Man (Movies)

Total Runtime: 6 hours and 20 minutes

Iron Man (Movies) is a canonical fandom tag on Ao3 that covers Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2, and Iron Man 3. The fandom is under the Marvel Cinematic Universe metatag, but can stand alone from the other MCU movies/TV shows. The movies are some of the very early MCU movies, with Iron Man 2008 being the first movie in the MCU. Because of this, there is no pre-established lore from other MCU movies/shows that you would need to watch first to understand these movies. Additionally, the plots/conflicts from the Iron Man movies stand alone from the rest of the MCU as they are established and solved within the movies themselves.

While technically part of a series of movies, Fury Road can function as an entirely standalone self-contained story. The cast of characters is almost completely different from previous movies, the setting is distinct, and events from previous movies are entirely unimportant to the plot.

Goodreads mislabled number of pages

I doubt this will prevent my nomination from going through, but the page number for The Build-a-Boyfriend by Mason Deaver listed on Goodreads is incorrect. Goodreads claims it's 384 pages, but my physical copy has 371 pages, including the acknowledgments. I know both are below the limit, but I wanted to clarify why I put that number in my fandom promo.

Where to Watch/Listen: All Music Streaming Services, Bandcamp (to buy libretto if you want the full story)
Total Runtime: 2 hrs 38 minutes (excluding The Cover Up, Terminator the Second, and A Night of Queen as they're not directly relevant to the story)

The Protomen is a 80s-style rock opera based around alternate universe versions of the Mega Man characters. You do not need to know the Mega Man games to understand the story. In total, the three current acts (The Protomen, Act II: The Father of Death, and Act III: This City Made Us) are 2 hours and 38 minutes, far below the runtime limit, and are a self-contained story.

Evidence: Loki TV

Fandom: Loki TV
Run Time: approximately 8 hours. There’s two seasons and each season is about 4 hours each. Season 1 is slightly shorter than 4hours but S2’s tiny extra minute length of 10-15 extra minutes makes up for it and they balance each other out. There’s only a total of 12 episodes between the two seasons - 6 episodes in S1 and 6 episodes in S2.

The show can stand on its own from the rest of the MCU as it was intended to do so. Maybe a person will understand the Easter eggs from the Thor movies and first Avengers movie but it’s not necessary to enjoy the show on its own because all the main characters (protagonists and antagonists) are new to the audience watching the the show.

Pure Taboo (2017) is a hardcore adult TV series focusing on taboo and "roughie" sex fetishes including incest and domination. Episodes are, for the most part, standalone stories with unique characters (there are a few 2 or 3 episode multi-parts but these are very much the exception). Each episode is generally 40-80 min long.

Fandom: Hatchetfield (Series)

Hoping for some guidance on if/how to nominate this. The Hatchetfield series is a musical comedy horror series that consists of three full-length musicals (total runtime 6h 36m ish), as well as a short film and a couple scripted miniseries. The canon is a multiverse, with the same characters showing up in different timelines. The main three musicals are loosely connected and form a complete story. Lots of fans consider the musicals the “main series” but technically it’s all canon. Is this eligible as a whole, maybe under Hatchetfield Trilogy or something? Would it be eligible if I nominated things individually? TIA!

In this case, assuming that the other multiverse stories aren't relevant to the main story, you can go ahead and feel welcome to nominate scoped to the main three musicals as the trilogy, since it sounds like they stand alone as a complete story, and the other items are considered multiverse content and not part of the story. Bear in mind that anyone creating for this is probably going to put in the 8 hours for watching the trilogy, so that means no nominating side characters from the other elements, or expecting lore etc from the other elements in the main trilogy.
