What is it, in summary?: Bu Xia’s family runs a temple and is very spiritual. Bu Xia has a fear of ghosts, and has a talisman to fend off the supernatural. When part of the seal accidentally comes undone, Bu Xia starts hearing the voices of ghosts, and the only way to make it stop is for him to be around his new roommate Jiang Chi. Jiang Chi doesn’t believe in the supernatural and also doesn’t understand why Bu Xia is suddenly so into him.
What do you love about it?: Bu Xia has done nothing wrong in his entire life and I love him.
What sort of things are you likely to request for it?: The romance is of course great, but Bu Xia’s sister Bu Tao is the new/current keeper of the temple, and she kinda accidentally set the entire plot into motion. So I’m also nominating both Bu Xia & Bu Tao (siblings) and Bu Tao & Jiang Chi (he doesn’t know a lot about the supernatural and while he does go to her when he realizes what’s going on, like, they could interact more outside of that?)
Content warnings: Obviously ghosts (which Bu Xia initially thinks are hallucinations) but it’s not a scary/horror show. MyDramaList says it’s rated 13+.
