Where to find it: I'll provide a link in my letter
What is it, in summary?: An alien falls from the sky and gives superpowers to a paraplegic teenager who’s an aspiring para-athlete/astronaut, who now has to save the world from evil.
What do you love about it?: Goo (the alien) and Daishi (the hero), mainly. Daishi’s dream, like, if he could be anything, is to be an astronaut. His backup plan (because space travel isn’t quite ready yet) is to be a Paralympic athlete in wheelchair racing. Both are amazing plans and I hope he succeeds at both. Goo also can’t speak Japanese and though the show gets around this via kinda just lucking out that someone could read this nonhuman language(?), the few fanfics there are try to get Goo learning sign language post-canon.
What sort of things are you likely to request for it?: This show should’ve been longer. Let Daishi go to space, cowards. Also I love Goo give me everything about him.
Content warnings: Blanket warning for ableism? Not maliciously but like, it’s there.
